Chillur was born with a mission to make cryptocurrency investments accessible to more people. To maximise distribution, the application was designed adaptively to work seamlessly on both desktop and mobile.
As part of this project, the Chillur website was also redesigned and migrated to Webflow, allowing better performance and flexibility, including interactive charts that the client can update in real‑time using Google Sheets.
Chillur’s main differentiator compared to similar products is that once a customer signs up, the app shows a demo dashboard, which creates excitement before they go through the onboarding process to activate their account. To lighten the cognitive load, the activation process was split up into steps where the customers can see their progress without feeling overwhelmed, increasing conversion since most people coming to Chillur don’t know much about investing in cryptocurrencies.
Once the app was approved and signed off, we designed the website using the newly created mockups to showcase Chillur’s unique offerings.
By basing the design on Google’s Material Design System, Chillur’s design system was designed and implemented quickly, which the engineering team most appreciated. The system allows them to adjust what was already available while putting together a new build in warp speed.
As a small company, quick and nimble execution was essential to the client while ensuring we met all their business requirements. By leveraging various technologies and resources, we did just that, and the product and its new website were launched in two‑thirds of the time that would have taken similar products. The website and app also helped promote the brand indirectly by using the primary brand colour.
